Terms of Service

The service

ComeAndGo lets anyone create a temporary workspace, share a link, and have the workspace destroy itself when its timer ends. No account is required. The service is provided by thatwhy.me, an independent project run by one person.

What we promise

When a workspace's timer ends, we destroy its encryption key, which makes its contents permanently unreadable across our systems. The one exception is content preserved because of an abuse report, described in our Privacy Notice and Acceptable Use Policy.

What we do not promise

• We do not promise the service will keep running. It is provided as-is. A workspace may end early because of a fault, an outage, or a moderation decision.
• We cannot recover anything. If you needed something from a workspace and did not copy it before the timer ended, it is gone. There is no support request that changes this.
• We cannot control other participants. Anyone in a workspace can screenshot, copy, or repeat what they see. Deletion applies to our systems, not to other people.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for what you send, and for who you share a workspace link with.
• Anyone holding a full workspace link can enter it. Treat the link as the key it is.
• You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.

Images

Nobody is asked for an account to send or receive a picture. Everybody entering a workspace ticks one box first, and the box is what you are agreeing to:

• You are responsible for the pictures you send, in any workspace, whoever opened it.
• You agree to be shown pictures other people send in the same workspace. Ticking the box is required to join, and it is the only agreement asked of anybody. Where a session predates this — somebody already in a workspace when it changed — no picture is shown until they answer, and each one waits behind a press.
• Images are held as messages: no storage bucket, no content delivery network, and no link that outlives the workspace. They are destroyed with it.
• If a workspace is reported, what was sent — including images — is preserved encrypted for 90 days so that it can be given to the authorities where the law requires it. This is described in the Privacy Notice.
• Whoever opens a workspace decides who is in it. They can remove a participant and lock the workspace, and we can destroy any workspace that breaches the Acceptable Use Policy.

Suspension and removal

We may destroy a workspace immediately, without notice, if we believe it breaches the Acceptable Use Policy or the law. We may also block access to the service from a source that is abusing it.

Limits

The free service imposes limits on how many workspaces you can create in a period, how long a workspace can live, how many people can join, and how much AI assistance a workspace receives. We may change these limits.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of data, including data lost because a workspace expired as designed. That is the service working, not failing.

Accounts and plans

An account is optional. Everything the service does for the people you share a link with works without one.

A paid plan (ComeAndGo Pro) adds live translation, room capacity of ten, and the choice of any workspace length up to seven days. It does not change how deletion works: every workspace is destroyed when its timer ends, for paying and non-paying creators alike, and no plan makes anything recoverable.

Plans renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account, and you keep what you paid for until the end of the period already paid — we do not cut a plan short on the day it is cancelled. We do not refund partial periods.

Deleting your account cancels any subscription immediately. Workspaces you already opened keep running until their timers end, but you will no longer be able to lock, extend or end them.

Prices are in Thai baht and payments are handled by Stripe. If a price changes, the change applies from your next renewal and never retroactively.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand.
